A little bit about who I am and what I do.
====Linux Use====

I started using Linux about 8 years ago or so. The first Linux distribution I used was Fedora. After that I flip-flopped between that and Windows, admittedly I used Windows a lot more. About a year or so later, a friend of mine had gotten me into Sabayon Linux, on Sabayon 5, and I used that for a while then decided to try Gentoo. I have since then tried many different distros but settled on Gentoo for the better part of it all. I then heard about Funtoo through a friend on #sabayon, and went between Gentoo and Funtoo for a while. Now here we are, using Funtoo for the better part of two years, and I can't imagine using something else.

I aim more for the desktop side of Linux, though I do maintain two servers, one running Gentoo the other running Funtoo. I like to think I am pretty good at what I do with Linux, but I could be wrong :P

I'm 21 years old, born on July 6, 1991. I was born in Santiago, Chile, grew up in southeastern Michigan, and now live in northern California. California is nice, but a totally different world from Michigan. I have a cat who I've had for two years, she's a big part of my life. I am a big Star Wars and Lord of the Rings fan.

Developer Guide

This page is intended to be a developer guide for Funtoo Linux. 
 Learning how to help squash out bugs can be a difficult thing to do, especially since sometimes JIRA looks a little overwhelming and confusing. A thank you to Daniel for making some videos (see below) on explaining this better, but there were a couple things left out. So I will take you through that. (With picture reference). 
 The first thing you're going to want to do is make an account, which is simple as clicking on the 'Log in' button on the top right, then clicking 'Sign up'.

 After you've made your account, the best way to watch bugs is to click on the 'Agile' drop-down menu, and choose 'Classic'.

 Now, we're going to want to change a couple things even with this. By default the 'Classic' mode takes you to 'Classic Planning Board', you want to change this to 'Classic Task Board'. This makes things much easier to read.

 After that, we're almost ready to rock and roll. We need to also make sure that you're not set to any version or we'll only see a few bugs. So in case it says '1.1' or '1.0' change it to 'Unscheduled'.

 And after all that, you can view and look at bugs that are in queue, To-do, or testing, which Daniels videos are very great at explaining. Thanks for helping Funtoo Linux better and better.
