If you are curious about how to get your coordinates, here is a short guide of how to do it.

First visit [http://maps.google.com http://maps.google.com] and search for your location. If Google shows it for you, there is a button called "link to this page" at the top right. It looks like this (red circle):

Click it and you will see a popup:

Copy the part of the URL that looks like ''?ll=39.7906,-86.134529&'' (these are the coordinates for the Indianapolis Center). The values stand for latitude and longitude, respectively. Copy that part to the <nowiki>display_points</nowiki> section above in a new line and add your content.

To add yourself to the map, you must have an account on the wiki.

* Click the registration link at the top right of the page if you haven't an account yet, and then log in.

* Click the "Edit" link at the top right (about 1-2 cm under your username).

* Add the data as shown above to the <display_points>...</display_points> above the </display_points> line in a new line :)

* please make sure you do not append extra newlines to the GMaps-api data section. This causes the parsing to fail. After someone updated a revision after my current post, my Map-marker went away.

* Save the page
