after a sync no ebuilds are found for pooler-cpuminer as described in the guide... portage gives me something like:

~ # emerge pooler-cpuminer -vp

These are the packages that would be merged, in order:

Calculating dependencies ... done!

emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy "pooler-cpuminer".

emerge: searching for similar names... nothing similar found.

maybe i`m missing something, need help.. anyway thanks already.

Is this out of date

I got the first script to work, but when trying to connect to any of the 3 mentioned servers, the connection fails

   [2014-11-12 10:25:35] HTTP request failed: Failed to connect to ltc.kattare.com port 9332: Connection refused
   [2014-11-12 10:25:35] json_rpc_call failed, retry after 5 seconds

   [2014-11-12 10:30:41] HTTP request failed: Failed to connect to newlc.ozco.in port 9332: Connection refused
   [2014-11-12 10:30:41] json_rpc_call failed, retry after 5 seconds

   [2014-11-12 10:33:49] Stratum connection failed: Connection timed out after 30001 milliseconds
   [2014-11-12 10:33:49] ...retry after 5 seconds

Also I couldn't get the GPU miner to work. My latest version of cgminer is 4.7.0 and My portage tree is in sync (unless I've missed something)

   *  net-misc/cgminer
     Latest version available: 4.7.0

I'd love some help to get this working and also to update this page for others to start mining with ease.
