Biography

I'm not willing to disclose much here. I'm happily married with two wonderful daughters.

History with computers

I've always had an interest in computers, especially programming, since I was in elementary school. They had an old Apple computer that I use to write simple BASIC programs on. Unfortunately, life got in the way and many years past until I got back into computers. I started back in learning Java while using Windows but quickly grew frustrated with windows and it's closed-source nature. That's when I discovered Linux. In the first few months I probably tried half the popular distros (slackware, debian, open suse, ect ..) until I discovered gentoo. Gentoo was a good fit for me and I never installed another distro until I came across Funtoo. Funtoo attracted me due to it's small community and lack of politics and in-fighting that is so prevalent with gentoo. I've since expanded my languages to include Bash and Python. I also know a small amount of C just to get by. Currently I am learning c++.
