Sorry, I was on my cellphone so I checked out on [http://en.znurt.org/gnome-base/gdm/useflags znurt] which told me gnome-base/gdm hase a consolekit useflag. However, I just checked out the ebuild as well, it seems that gdm relies on consolekit only if systemd useflag is '''disabled'''. :::::::lol ok..... this loops back to the original subject of the talk page. if the useflag is set it pulls in the package, but doesnt set it to start @ default. im failing to see this as a work around, and more seeing it as a shortcoming of use flags pulling packages in? or shortcomings of packages pulled in to be set as default @ boot? we care about systemd long enough for it going into the garbage bin, and having packages that previously depend on it working without. idk what to think about it, if you really think its a work around, bug tracker it. =D [[User:Threesixes|Threesixes]] ([[User talk:Threesixes|talk]]) 00:11, 23 September 2014 (UTC) | |||

GNOME should be mergeable by simply setting the desktop profile, enabling the gnome mix-in, and emerging GNOME. If this doesn't work, then it's a bug, and a bug should be filed. | |||
