# emerge lightdm

configuration

lightdm is configured with /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf, and /etc/conf.d/xdm. by default lightdm ships with lightdm-gtk-greeter which is controlled by /etc/lightdm/lightdm-gtk-greeter.conf
